Acceptable Formats:
We offer transcription of all sizes of tapes, CDs, and DVDs as well as digital audio or video dictation.
Pick up and delivery of tapes, CDs, and DVDs will be done if local, or they can be mailed to us.
Digital dictation can be in one of many formats (such as .wav, .dss, or mp3 for audio only, or mpeg for video, etc.), and can be uploaded via this website on the Get Started page or via email.
All completed transcription will be returned via email as MS Word documents.

This is a general guideline. Discounts possible for contract or volume work.

Note on pricing: All transcription through Consider It Done is completed in the U.S. by transcriptionists whose first language is English. Some medical transcription companies outsource their work, even unbeknownst to thier clients, to countries where English is the second language. They pay these workers a few cents per line and are able to make a huge profit and charge much less. But, is the savings worth quality risk that could result in medical error and a malpractice issue? Also, HIPAA is a U.S. federal law and does not apply overseas, so your patients' privacy is seriously at risk in sending their medical information overseas.

$3.50 per page and up.
By audio hour:
Clear audio with 1-2 speakers: $100.00 per audio hour and up.
Distorted audio, difficult accents, 3 or more speakers, etc.: $120.00 per audio hour and up.
Additional charge for local pick up/drop off.
Additional charge for mailed hardcopies.
Payment:
Per project:
A 50% deposit is required before any work begins and final payment is due within 5 business days of receipt of invoice and completed work.
Ongoing account:
Invoice is sent each month on the 1st and 16th and payment is due biweekly.
